“They told me when I got to England people would be very nice. They like to help you from the heart. Like the Red Cross, they are really good people and like to help other people in trouble.

When I arrived they gave us food and a place to sleep. They gave me clothes, still give me clothes. £35 a week is not enough for everything. A friend introduced me to Mustard Tree and they give me clothes when I need them. The Red Cross have a meeting to take out the pain inside. I was scared so they help us. I go to chuch and they help me a lot.

I want to catch up and to learn English. I watch ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and then you can go to the next channel and see it again to practice the English. Also ‘As Time Goes By’ – I like that one.

Really I appreciate the way I get help from all the kind organisations and their officers.

I didn’t know they would give us food and a place to stay. I just want to say thankyou.”
