Last weekend saw up take up residence in the Lush store on Market Street. Now this might not be everyone’s idea of a great weekend, but it was such a lovely and supportive atmosphere. The Lush team were incredibly welcoming and this initiative helped us raise £330.80 and saw many more people follow us online.
Charity Pots are a way of grassroots organisations partnering with Lush to raise money, and vitally, awareness about the work we do. The fab team of volunteers who made this happen, had some wonderful chats with members of the public about the impact MCoS has on the people seeking asylum that we work with. These interactions are so meaningful and really change hearts and minds.
