On Saturday, our team of volunteer cooks spent the day at the Levenshulme Inspire kitchen where they prepared and cooked all of the food for our ‘Big Conversation’ event the following day at Whitworth Art Gallery. The team had to cater for 150 people and each person chose their own recipe, inspired by their home country! The menu consisted of falafel wraps, red pepper humous, aloo tikki and much, much more! We had a great day in the kitchen, working as a team and teaching each other new skills and techniques. A big thank you to the wonderful Amy from 4lunch for her enthusiasm, encouragement and hard work!
